Magenta Haze Abstract Face Painting in Pink

I can tell you about my process for creating this painting. I started by using magenta acrylic ink and a dropper top to draw the initial shapes and lines. To add some interesting texture, I sprayed water onto the surface. Next, I used charcoal to draw and a sponge roller to apply a layer of matt medium, which created a grungy texture.

For the highlights, I switched to white acrylic paint and applied it with a sponge brush, which forced me to be bold and loose with my strokes. Finally, I added details using Neocolor wax pastels to finish the piece.
